The National Center for Construction Laboratories (NCCL) was established in 1976 according to the law 43 as one of the Ministry of Construction and Housing (MOCH) institutions.
It has been reformed in 1987 according to the modified law 65.
In 1997, the law 22 was established by which the NCCL turned into a public company belongs to the (MOCH).
Then, in 2003, the Baghdad Center of The Building Research (an ex-institution belonged to MOCH) has been integrated with the NCCL, & has been financed centrally by the government and associated with the Ministry of Construction & Housing (MOCH).
so it’s name become :
The National Center for Construction Laboratories and Research (NCCLR)
